Honestly... I love this place.... The food is always spot on... The woman at the register is sooooo super sweet... It's the picture perfect breakfast/lunch place from the 80's....and that's what you want when you walk in there.

Decent breakfast foods, great staff, a bit too rusticky for my taste, but... whatever. A bit stingy with the gravy for the biscuits, but their egg dishes are pretty good.

An order was placed for 1 MYO omelette and an order of Fruit French Toast online for pickup. When we arrived to pick up the order there was an additional MYO omelette added to your bill, totaling around $50. The online omelette was made incorrectly and should have been made with egg whites, spinach and NO MEAT. I also asked for a bagel with my omelette and instead I was given toast. I called the restaurant to let them know of the error, where I spoke with Ruth. Ruth was unable to assist me and placed the manger on the line who refused to provide her name. I explained to the manager what happened and was offered no assistance. I had to request to have this situation rectified in which her response was “you would need to return the meal for us to take it off your bill” , which typically wouldn’t be a problem but we were already late for a flight. She proceeded to state that I would need to bring the omelette back in, which in a post pandemic time, is quite concerning. This was our first time in this area and we received great service and food from a few establishments - sadly this restaurant missed the mark for both. Below I have added a picture of my omelette (with meat) and my partners omelette (which he had already started eating).

Denver omelette was too dry, taste like it was fried with water. Pan cakes looked like the ones from my kitchen as leftovers. Staff make it better because they are friendly

This restaurant is the opposite of the typical "Highland Park" aesthetic. You won't find HP mom's that are 90 lbs, driving 50 foot long $100,000 SUV's picking up here. Food is great, service is great, price is nice. I love it.
